Introduction

Forbes designed the original version of the xml message on which the current Inland Revenue FBI on is based. It developed the first software ever to be approved for Internet filing and is regularly the first to be approved each year, often months ahead of others. Forbes also supplied the Inland Revenue with back end software for processing the received xml returns. ProTax is the choice of both individuals and professional accountants wanting to file by internet

    Compatibility

    ProTax-FBI is a standalone system that allows the preparation of SA100s and all supplementary pages. It then allows them to be transmitted to the Inland Revenue internet filing portal and receive a response. ProTax-FBI can also be used in conjunction with a 3rd party tax product that is ELS enabled. It will read TEM flat files from the taxout directory effictively becoming a substitute for the Inland Revenue's tax exchange module (TEM).
